Johnny Bigg

Brief

I was approached by Richard to retouch a series of images for the Johnny Bigg online over sized mens clothing website. The difference with this job was that the talent was not big enough, so I was to enlarge his frame. This was very different from the normal fashion retouching jobs where by I would slim down or make the clothing fit the talent. Because the background needed to have the depth of field exaggerated and the guy needed to be liquified up, I decided to deep etch him and turn him into a smart object which would allow me to smart liquify. Because of this the client was amazed how quickly I could perform corrections on resizing him. This was especially tricky with the checkered shirts where I had to even out the liquify across the with in order not to distort the pattern too much.
